We represent people from all occupations and professions. The workers' compensation law is designed to provide high quality and immediate medical care along with compensation for your lost wages and permanent injuries.
Workers' Compensation law is complex and very different from other types of law. We do our best to make sure that you obtain the maximum possible benefits allowed under that law. We represent a wide variety of injured workers including, but not limited to health care professionals, government employees, lawyers and those in the construction trade who need help navigating the workers' compensation system.
Robert Carter and Donna Civitello were adjunct professors at the University of Connecticut Law School, teaching workers' compensation law beginning in January 2010. They are two of the principal authors of Connecticut Workers' Compensation Law, a treatise written for lawyers, commissioners and insurance professionals about the law and practice of workers' compensation in Connecticut. The book is a comprehensive guide to workers' compensation, including: benefits, medical treatment, settlement of claims, appeals, trials and civil actions arising from workplace injuries. It is published in two volumes by Thomson West Publishing Company.
